Initially reserved, the nose opens with sweet cherry, wild raspberry and delicate floral notes. The palate is finely structured, balancing pure red fruit with silky tannins and bright acidity. Elegant rather than powerful, it is lifted by the freshness and mineral character of Gravières, finishing long, poised and refined.

More garnet than ruby in colour, with some elegance to the nose, though modest in volume. Then the Gravières opens out to a sweet cherry flavour, with some tannins in support. On the lighter side for 1er Cru, yet refined and attractive. Two barrels made.
