Santenay Blanc 2023

The 2023 vintage marks a change in vineyard source, with the wine now produced from a blend of several parcels on the Chassagne-Montrachet side of Santenay. The result is a richer, more generous style than the previous two vintages. Fermentation took place in a combination of French oak barrels of various sizes and a Clayver vessel, with 25% new oak adding subtle texture and complexity.

The wine opens with notes of fresh lemon and white peach, leading to a fuller-bodied palate than the Bourgogne Blanc. Bright acidity balances the richness, carrying the wine through to a long, elegant finish.
