From 80-year-old vines just above 1er Cru Rugiens, on the border with Volnay. Fermented with 5% whole bunches. A deeper, denser expression than the 2023, with bright red fruit, lifted floral aromatics, a medium-bodied palate and fine, elegant tannins. Approachable in its youth, with the structure and balance to age beautifully.

Production: 400 bottles and 20 magnums.

A darker ruby. The first nose that shows a little oak – there is one 300 litre barrel – and a little bit nutty. Good concentration behind, 12.5% natural. Good Pommard muscle, just a little bit of pepper at the back, with a long finish.
