This year's wine comes exclusively from Les Capitans, a vineyard of sandy granitic soils situated at a lower altitude than Fleurie, producing a richer, more generous style. Fermented with 60% whole clusters, the wine spent almost four weeks on skins before aging in stainless steel. Bottled in May 2024.

Deep purple in colour, the wine offers aromas of plum, blackberry, violet and sweet spice. Rich and full-bodied, it has impressive depth while retaining freshness and balance. Far from a typical 100% whole-bunch Beaujolais, this wine will reward those with the patience to cellar it.
